Tayo Heuser

Tayo Heuser was born in Washington D.C., and received a Bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI and a Master’s degree from Vermont College in Montpelier, VT. Currently, she lives and works in Narragansett, USA and Brussels, Belgium.

Heuser’s most recent work will be featured in her upcoming solo exhibitions at the Center for Contemporary Non-objective Art, and the H29 in Brussels, as well as in the group exhibitions at the Paper New England in Harford, CT, and Chazan Gallery in Providence, RI. Previously, her work has been shown throughout the US, including at the Newport Art Museum in Newport; David Winton Bell Gallery, Brown University, and Rhode Island School of Design Museum in Providence, RI; Elvehejem Museum of Art, University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI; Margarete Roeder Gallery, and Cristinerose/Josee Bienvenue Gallery in New York, NY; Bernard Toale Gallery in Boston, MA; the University Art Museum, California State University, Long Beach, CA; the Weatherspoon Gallery, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, NC; and Washington Square Gallery in Washington, D.C. Heuser’s work is also included in the numerous public and corporate collections, most notably the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, CA_; the Rhode Island School of Design Museum in Providence, RI_; the Werner Kramarsky Collection in New York, NY_; the Lerner Corporation in Washington D.C.; the Taiyo, Inc., and the Sanyo Corporation in New York, NY, and the Hunt Collection in Pittsburgh, PA_.
